I just watched the movie "Das Leben der Anderen" (the Life of others) that just won an Oscar. For good reasons, as well. I recently read the book Stasiland. I told my friend that the movie was beindruckend, and he said that "manche Leute nicht glauben dass daselbe nicht in die Drd und USa passiert ist."
