Mass emails

I don't like mass emails. I mean, i'll take it, if that's all i'm getting, but i'd rather want a personalized brief with my name in it and a lot of references that only i understand... so is it immoral when i write a long email to a friend and then change some of the sentences and then send it to another friend? It's not that bad, right? ... lo siento.
