Another hectic day...

Fri: So on Friday I had my last final- History. Boy was that fun… I think that it could have been a bit better, but hey. I wrote a huge @$$ essay on the Vietnam War…. Hmm… never thought that I would be interested in wars other than the Winter and Continuation War (the wars that the Finns fought in WW2)… Anyways, very interesting indeed. Especially the ways that people thought of the soldiers, and the general mood of society. Anyways, I digress… After the final I went back to my room to pack and do other boring things… Eventually I went dancing with Kenny, Salsa, actually… Can’t beat that. Hehe. And some Cha-cha. That was interesting. I guess those have enough spinning to make me almost fall a whole bunch of times. Oh well, then back to sleeeeep….

Sat So, about 7 am my friend picked me up. I initially forgot my computer and my itinerary, but hey. It’s all good. Then we drove to the airport, where I customarily talked to Molly (she’s from Wyoming? No wait… I forget..) and another chick from Arch, and some guy from Minnesota. Flight = sleep.
LA= boring and sleep
Flight = sleep
Then Kels came and picked me up, and I met Steven, her bf. So I never thought he would be like that… even though I didn’t really know what to expect…
We drove around, met up with my Quango, and later with Nikkipie, Elyssa, Bucket, Lisa and her fiancé. Yeah, that was disturbing. Basically everything I’ve heard about him was true…
Then we rented a movie… some standup by Chris Tucker… good, but it could have been funnier. Nick and Elyssa slept.
Anyways. We got home late and slept in kinda late… weeee spring break!

Sun What did we do on Sunday? I have no clue.. wait… yeah I do, we went to see Dawn of the Dead. (Bucket, Annie, Quang, Steven, Kels and I). I heard that was a remake of an old movie, or something… Yeah, that was nice, because it had a zombie baby that died and the ending was, well, nevermind, I won’t spoil it for the people who want to see it… All I have to say is that 28 Days Later was much better. MUCH better. I doubt I will have any nightmares from Dawn of the Dead, you know… Then we saw The Passion. Wow was that anti-semetic. And historically inaccurate. But then, cant blame the Romans, of course not… It did have some nice scenes, especially the random raven coming to attack some guy, as well as the weird Satan figure with a child. I mean, I would think that a resurrection movie of that sort wouldn’t need any CG, but I guess it did… I guess it did. So, id you want to waste 2 hours of your time, the Passion is for You. Then we ate at a Thai restaurant (mmmm) which was nice.

Mon Monday = school. Weee school. We ate lunch at a sushi place… went to Abnormal Psychology (boring) and then we played foosball (beat some guys from the OC, one who actually goes to Pomona- ha ha! Take That Pomona! SLO R0x0rs!), and then went ballroom dancing. Yay! So much fun. We just did waltzing, though, I kinda wanted to learn Swing from some other institution than Poly. You know how people teach things differently… Then Kels and I did work while watching South Park and Law and Order…

Tue Tuesday= crazy... Well, Kels had to finish an essay, so we didnt go to school until 12. Had to run a bit, too. woohoo. ^_^ Hung out in the bookstore... Then I met up with Avi, Bucket, Quang, and Kels and we played foosball! Yay!!! Around 3 we went to lunch (man, why wasnt i hungrier earlier?) and realizing that i needed my cellphone that i had forgotten at Kelsey's, ate fast (met Eric and Steven) then sped home and got it.
El Chorros was great. I've never met Kat before, she's really nice. We saw home movies of the kids in 83... and trees... and beavers... yeah that was fun. Then I went back to the UoA and met up with Quang and Stephan, who I hadnt seen in forever. Played some Egyptian Rat Screw,... and went home. ^_^ good day, good day.

Hope i haven't bored you yet... still 1/2 the week to go
